Emerging Minds is a research network that aims to reduce the prevalence of mental health problems experienced by children and young people. They have produced a host of materials to help parents and carers support young people around COVID-19, including top tips, recommended resources and a webinar series.

As part of these resources, the network have produced a guide specifically to help parents and carers support their children and young people with worries and anxiety around COVID-19.

Childline has general advice around coping for parents and young people, as well as tips and activities for feeling calm (for young people and adults).

Partnership for Children have online resources for parents, carers and teachers around supporting mental health.

Mentally Healthy Schools may be a useful resource for school staff.

Charlie Waller Memorial Trust WellBeing Challenge Resource Pack for Secondary School and Sixth Form Students. This is crammed with information and activities to promote wellbeing and have been developed and produced by the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust, a charitable Trust which works to increase awareness of the symptoms and dangers of depression and remove the stigma that is attached to mental illness. They’ve also developed one for Primary School Students.
