The Nutrition and Healthy Living course allows learners from various backgrounds and stages of life to learn some of the core concepts needed to improve their diet and overall health.

  1. Understanding a Balanced Meal and Healthy Eating
  2. The Role of Water and Fiber
  3. The Digestive System and Improving Gut Health
  4. Nutrition for Infants and Youth
  5. Nutrition for Women, Men, and Seniors
  6. Meal Planning and Mindfulness

The course introduces students to the importance of healthy eating and active living, which, in-turn, can produce the best results for your overall well-being. From building a plate, to how our digestive system works, to acquiring proper nutrition for each stage of life, we will cover the role health and keeping active plays in achieving one’s body goals. Students will become familiar with key nutrition concepts and learn tools one can use in their everyday lives. Helping students understand that it’s not about being on a diet, but instead making nutrition and healthy activity a part of one’s lifestyle is the mission of this course.
