Welcome to Identifying and Monitoring Progression in Collaboration Skills.

Here, you will learn about optimising the role of collaboration in classrooms. This activity is a sample of a wider initiative concerned with the integration of 21st Century Skills in education systems. A key focus of the 21st Century Skills project has been to develop a practical approach for teaching and assessing skills in the classroom.

Collaboration forms part of ACER’s skill development frameworks*, the “3 Cs”:

The 3Cs: critical thinking, creative thinking and collaboration

By the end of this activity, you will be able to:

  • Define and identify key aspects of collaboration as it relates to learning;
  • Access resources and research articles to reference and learn more; and
  • Develop a practical approach for teaching and assessing skills in the classroom.
