William about the causes of his psychosis

William tells about what caused the development of his psychosis.
SPEAKER 1: Looking back, it’s hard to say what the exact cause was. I mean, so many things seemed to play a role. There were so many things going on in my life that were making me stressed. I was living on my own, new city, new studies, new friends, going out more, partying more, and drugs, a lot more drugs. So I don’t know if it was one thing or a combination, but I just know everything went from bad to worse. And the fact that I was avoiding people more as it got worse just didn’t help at all. And more and more, I just stayed in my room on my own. And I started using cannabis just to relax a little.
