Talking about your feelings

Anne-Laura van Harmelen tells something about sharing your thoughts with others.
ANNA-LAURA VAN HARMELEN: When you’ve had a bad experience or when you’re feeling low don’t try to solve it all by yourself. Talk about it as soon as you can with someone that you trust, like your friends or your family, or maybe that one teacher at school. And some people don’t feel comfortable doing this, and that’s OK and completely normal. Those people might want to look online and they might feel better if they talk about their feelings online on a forum. You can also ring your GP to talk about your feelings and your experiences. And finally some people find it really helpful if they discuss their problems over the phone, but anonymously.

When you have experienced something negative or are feeling bad, please do not try to solve your problems on your own. Talk about it with someone you trust!
