  • some how I'm agree and I think it really depends on the level of your English so it's different for everyone.

  • Monolingual version was the best

  • there were some parts that the tutors spoke slowly and the only part that I didn't understand was the word resilient.

  • yes and I think the most important one is to be confident because if we don't have enough confidence we probably won't engage with university community and we are some how being avoided not to ask questions that comes to our minds.

  • yes, being confident and fearless and have the curiosity to learn especially by joining in groups of peers and study together were some important tips that I forgot to mention.

  • as we all know success comes after hard work and being able to use the knowledge we gain so I think at first we should focus on our course and research for it and work hard to learn and then we should try to discuss about what we learned and defend our ideas and it's an important part of our learning.

  • Hi everyone I'm Niloufar from Iran it's a beautiful country with many historic places.I live in kish which is a small island in Persian gulf. It's full of corals and shells it's really good if you google it and see how it look likes.I'm joining this course because my mother tongue it's not English but my course at university is English literature although I'm...

  • I think there is no too much liberty at all.for example a child is free to do some particular things and there are things that she or he is not allowed to do due to his or her parent and it's just the same for 2 and 3.I am not telling that there is no liberty ,I mean it's not too much.I guess the poem is encouraging us too be positive and not consider...

  • It's no coercion,it's just like a reminder I believe.

  • this was just amazing..

  • they are there because they wanted to so that it's not like being in a prison.

  • I think so too

  • fortunately I haven't come across these kind of books and even imagining it give me the fear....but I guess it would be fun to spend your time among huge books and surfing them.

  • @RachelCladingbowl I guess we have to use skimming and scanning skills.

  • reading and highlighting really work for me.also listening to audios is helpful for me.

  • I'm studying English literature at uni so it's really clear why I am doing this course also I have this perspective of improving myself in my field of study.

  • yes!!and BBC learning English app is really useful especially I love the English we speak part.

  • this graph show how consuming and eating habits have changed from 1976 to 2006 in Europe ,of course the results are really important and may help us to understand the answer to some issues today like obesity.first as you can see we had an incredible change in potato consuming that it was 400 gram per person per week in 1976 and about 100 gram per person per...

  • I have found counting the words the most difficult part I mean if it said for example the writing should have only 2000 words, I get confused and don't know how to count and manage my writing.
probably the only way to practice is to write, write and write although I'm fond of writing, I always skip practicing writing.

  • ohh, being a university professor is my favorite job too.

  • hello everyone! I'm Niloufar and I'm 18.I'm from Iran.I'm preparing for IELTS for my master degree which I'd like to study abroad and right now I'm studying English literature at university.

  • I want to practice and learn how to start so I think this course would be a perfect first step.

  • @AnastasiaPereira thank you for your support and replying that was really heartwarming. spirituality was my first value that really surprised me I didn't know that it was my most important value in finding a career and the next surprising thing was that all the careers suggested for me were in media and directing field as well as writing for media field I...

  • I love hermione granger from Harry potter

  • what I really liked about this week were the performing part and the actress reflections.....enjoyable.

  • the F1 is more emotional and has more physical actions but I love both.

  • I would obviously chose Q1, Scene 6, lines 38-55 because it's much easier to understand so that understanding make the audience to get emotional

  • what I use the most is the emblems gesture specially during typing messages, using emojis.

  • I'm very happy and it's all because I learned that my first decision to study literature was the right one, the one that I loved from the deepest part of my heart and I know that I will try hard for it.this course makes me to fill confident and teaches me that all jobs have they own problems so listen to your heart and do your best to make your dreams come true

  • I'm going to major in English literature right now and I'm confident at 8.I know I love my major and any job related to it but financial things matter so right now I just want to study and experience to make good opportunities in my near future for myself and I guess that's what literature students do.

  • writing and having a creative mind was the most common feature.the studying areas were literature and communication and media studies and they were all appealing

  • @AnastasiaPereira I'm afraid there is no support available. I mean, in my family there is nobody who can speak english fluently and literature is not important for them you know, they would like me to be doctor or engineer at least and I have no idea if there would be any opportunity at university, sad but true I haven't heard about supporting students at...

  • love of learning and Perseverance are my top strengths and I'm happy to hear it.studying literature needs these factors,I guess, and perhaps show me that my decision to be a literature professor or anything related to it wasn't a bad idea!

  • what I loved when I did the tests was that Spirituality was in the first priority and It's not an obstacle for my job and it even help me to be better

  • I think the first thing I have to do is to improve my English to understand more about Shakespeare's plays and I have to read more books than ever to gain skill before writing books

  • my future life would be an artistic one,I would drive to my office which has a view to a beautiful garden and it's full of books and statues of famous writers.I work on literature projects and write novels and help students at university or high school to play the books they read.I live near my family and we always just like now love to spend time with each...

  • I already talked about publishing and journalism that they perhaps would be an example of obsolete jobs for human beings but as @Anastasia Pereira mentioned the information and pieces which would be written in newspapers need creativity which robots have not,at least for the next 100 years I suppose so it's better to say, we may be colleague one day,haha,...

  • I already have one and It's really interesting that I've already achieved some of my goals.so try it,no harm done.

  • I guess jobs like publishing and anything related to newspapers are becoming less important and they may also become obsolete one day as technology always dominate and a job that perhaps become a common job in future and is currently a job in some countries is cloud police according to weather that we would have in near future.

  • @AnastasiaPereira thanks,I'll keep that in my mind

  • @AnastasiaPereira thanks my dear mentor for your advises!!!!

  • although I have a strong passion about English ,I have difficulty right now to make up my mind to whether study english literature or french literature I love them both but I'm not sure and there is no one to help that which one has a brighter career future???perhaps you can help me. thanks

  • Hi everyone! my name is Niloufar and I'm 18 and waiting for September to start university, yeahhhhhh!!!

  • it was very interesting to know there are different versions of shakespeare's plays and I also loved the pictures from library

  • I'm fond of those books that take you in the story and makes you believe in the book and makes you feel what will happen next?so I guess it only depends on my mood when I am reading a novel.overall one of my favorite books is ( west with the night by Beryl Markham)and a more recent one is ( a man called Ove by‎ ‎Fredrik Backman)

  • HIIIIII,My name is Niloufar and I'm from kerman a city in Iran.

  • @RachelMcKenna-McKeown yes,Shakespeare is Shakespeare anyway no matter outdoor or indoor

  • seriously I'm not good at history but when comes to history of literature I try my best to learn in with my soul and remember it as a part of my own life story.as I said I wasn't that much good at quiz times but I learned a lot .it was really interesting to have a look at old maps and very interesting to know theater and plays were appreciated by many people...

  • you're so lucky to watch them ,no mater there were indoor or not!!!

  • I think one of the main problems was the voice .I think outdoor theaters had difficulty hearing actor's voice clearly .as the swan has a round shape I don't think that audience had difficulty watching so it was quite good.they hadn't any scenery or props so all that was important and made the audience interested was the actor's talent.

  • so far I've just read shakespeare and that alone made me not only fall in love with his works but also with the whole english literature.but overall I'd love to watch them live in theaters as I love it atmosphere.I also listen to shakespeare bbc podcasts which are really interesting

  • I wish he had at least a biography which was written by him to help us more to know about his feelings .these kind of documents just made me more curious.

  • yes and it's so sad that there is not enough evidence about his personal life

  • mysterious, father of English language, the first great actor

  • HI,I'm Niloufar.I'm a freshman at university and I'm studying English literature so I love to explore everything that is included in its literature and shakspeare of course is the very first person I'd love to know more about to satisfy my learning.good luck everyone!!!

  • @HeatherC how fun!!

  • I guess I'd start with 2D they are more classic.

  • yes that's also very true.they can be dreams come true

  • I think animations are the most fascinating way to show others what is all going around in our minds.I can think chocolates for example is pouring from clouds instead of water and the only place I can see that except my mind is in an animation or cartoon and I think that's what animation is

  • I was always inspired by watching cartoons and animation.they gave me the idea of being creative and they always capture my thoughts that how we can make an animation with beautiful scenes and lovely people who are all living in peace.
I loved the theme of winnie the pooh and the adventures of tin tin which were really action.
