Coventry University program

Leadership of People

Discover how to engage fully with people’s professional development in order to improve their job satisfaction.

This program is part of the MA Educational Leadership and MA Educational Leadership - Apprenticeship degrees offered by Coventry University

Explore how the key to effective leadership lies in meeting development needs

This program aims to develop and enhance your knowledge of the fundamental principles underlying effective leadership of people in a school setting.

You will have the chance to critically reflect on the application of a principle-driven performance management system for teachers and non-teaching staff. This is an important and potent tool for educational leaders to understand who you are leading, and to ensure your values are clearly understood and reliably acted upon.

Lesson observation, target setting, performance related pay, and capability and disciplinary processes will also be considered.
