Introducing Raja Rajamannar, one of the world's most awarded marketers, who will be taking learners through his theory of Quantum Marketing.
Hello. I’m Raja Rajamannar. Welcome. This course is based on my book “Quantum Marketing”, which tells you everything you need to know about being a successful marketer tomorrow. My own first experience with marketing was in India, growing up as a kid, I used to go with my mother to the market to buy groceries for the family. We would announce we were, “going marketing”. For us, the terms marketing and shopping were fairly interchangeable. The word marketing really got etched into my mind, and I would associate it with the joys of things to buy, the special deals, the free samples, the fairs, the exhibitions and so on. This was marketing seen through a young consumer’s perspective.
Years later, I was fortunate enough to be accepted
to a prestigious graduate school: The Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore. There, I began studying real marketing, and when I graduated with my MBA, I thought I knew a lot about it, and by the book, I did. So imagine my shock and surprise when I was accosted during the first week on my job by a director of Asian Paints, that’s the company I joined, straight out of college, and he asked me, “Raja, we are already a market leader today, and we don’t even have a marketing department. So help me understand, what exactly does marketing do?”
This may have been the best business question I have ever heard, and it is among the questions I asked myself often, “What role is marketing playing here? What should it be doing? Where is it going?” In this course, I’m going to be telling you not just about marketing but about “Quantum Marketing”, which will give you a huge competitive advantage and help you thrive in the future.

He is one of the world’s most awarded marketers. He has won the World Federation of Advertisers’ Global Marketer of the Year. He is one of the Forbes Top 5 World’s Most Influential CMOs. He is a board director at PPL Corp, Bon Secours Mercy Health, New York City Ballet, Cintrifuse and ANA.

With more than 30 years’ experience in global companies such as Mastercard, Unilever, Citi and Diners Club, Rajamannar has become known as one of the world’s most technology savvy marketers.
