Make sure your tests make a difference

This section introduces learners to key considerations which are important for implementing an effective testing process.

There are a few key things to consider when setting up tests:

  • Will the test be properly measurable?
  • Can you trust the results enough to share with colleagues?
  • Are there any factors outside of the elements you are testing that have to be taken into consideration?
  • What measures do you need to consider? For instance, if you test subject lines of an email, should you measure opens, click-throughs, web visits, or conversions?
  • Will the learnings from the test be able to be applied to future campaigns?
