Supporting the education and assessment of nurses is fundamental to the future of our profession.

This program will help to equip you to explore the application of learning theory to support the facilitation and assessment of learning for individuals and groups in a range of healthcare and academic settings.

We’ll examine the concepts of adult education and the clinical learning environment, as well as the influence of local and national approaches to curricula on teaching, learning and assessment.

  • Analyse the application of a range of learning theories to the facilitation of learning within a range of healthcare settings
  • Analyse the application of principles of assessment in a range of clinical learning environments
