Week 3 Class Experiment: Mental origami
The class experiment has been designed as an on-line experiment.
The experiment has been configured as a reaction time task. As in our rotating Rs task, as soon as a stimulus is presented, we begin to time and when stop timing when the participant makes a response. We are timing the amount of time between stimulus presentation and response and we take it that such time intervals directly reflect how long the internal mental processes take to run to completion.
The task itself should not take more than 15 minutes to complete. We encourage you to complete the task, but you can also disseminate the link to other willing volunteers.
You may either follow this link to launch the experiment
or simply copy this link
into a new tab on a browser.
The task should be self-explanatory and the anonymous data will be saved so that we can share the summaries later in the week.
