Most vineyards are found in the latitudes 30-50 degrees on both hemispheres. Global Warming may shift the geographical location of vineyards. It is estimated that global wine production for 2016 is 5% lower than that produced in 2015. Warmer climates result in a higher alcohol content of the wine.
