What to expect next week

This week we have introduced some of the issues around the topic of digital wellbeing. We’ve looked at the intersection of wellbeing and mental health, and investigated whether mental health problems are increasing. We’ve considered how we source information and how our use of technology shapes our behaviour.

So, how did you find the first week? Is there anything that remains unclear? Was there any course content that surprised you? Do let us know in the comments below.

Next week we’ll focus on personal digital wellbeing. We’ll look deeper at the identities we craft online, and we’ll explore the opportunities online communities offer, while also considering some of the risks. We’ll question how we balance our online and offline lives, and share some tips on switching off and taking back control of the technologies we use.

See you next week!
