Where can I go to learn more?
We have only been able to touch on some of the topics that a study of humanism invites us to, and, of those we have, we have only skimmed the surface. For those of you who want to learn more, the recommended reading in the downloads section below will hopefully take you deeper.
You may also be interested in our other free online course: Humanist Lives. On the course, you’ll have the opportunity to meet humanists from around the world. From their stories, you’ll learn about their motivations, the diverse ways in which humanism can be expressed, and the beliefs and values that unite them. The course is led by writer and broadcaster Alice Roberts and features contributions from scientists, artists, writers, and campaigners, including Polly Toynbee, Jim al-Khalili, Frank Turner, Natalie Haynes, and Steven Pinker.

Humanism is a global movement. The biggest humanist organisation is in Norway, the newest in Uganda, and India is the country with the largest number of member organisations in the International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU). If you live outside the UK and are interested in finding out more about your local humanist organisation, you can visit the IHEU website.
