Questions involving fractions

Understanding fractions is a core skill at the base of many mathematical problems, including rearranging equations. Putting fractions in order of size involves a degree of estimating, and then using some basic numerical skills to solve the problem.

As with many numerical questions, it is a case of developing a method which suits you and enables you to solve similar problems in a way that involves you understanding what you are doing, and what is happening to the numbers.
