Video review of Week 2

Karen, one of the educators on the course, looked back at some of the main talking points of this week in a short video.

Karen talked about the Speaking test and mentioned Andres Posso’s comment on how to improve speaking. She then added some suggestions on improving speaking without going to a class.

On the same topic, Karen talked about other comments from this week.
Dolores Saldaña’s comment is about your mind going blank in the Speaking test. So here are some speaking tasks to help you practise!
Saber’s advice is NOT to memorise. Mohammed Zidan commented on the long turn. Edossa’s comment is about topics for the Speaking test and this conversation gives great advice for this part of the test.

Karen told us about this week’s Facebook Clinic. You can catch up with the Clinic on step 2.2.

She talked about how useful it is to record yourself and mentioned Nestor’s comment and added resources for pronunciation and sentence stress.

Finally, Karen talked about the chance to win a scholarship to study abroad.
