Video review of Week 2

This week David looks back at some interesting talking points from this week.

David talks about how you feel about speaking English and mentions Mindy Panulo who found speaking to a native speaker a little worrying. He speaks about the different tips that we’ve shared throughout the week for different parts of the Speaking test and would also like to share these answers from Elena Starodubtseva and Sema Vural as they gave some good ‘full’ answers for expanding simple ‘yes’/’no’ closed questions. He reminds you to try recording yourself in Step 2.19 and recommends listening to some of the other learners and to be encouraging in your replies. Here’s Venkata Pendekanti recording where he is talking about fruit!

We had two successful Live Events this week and if you weren’t able to join us don’t worry as you can find the Facebook Clinic here and the Global Studies broadcast here. You can also read or download a transcript of all the questions, answers and resources from the Facebook Clinic here.
