All good things must come to an end.
Well done and thank you to everyone who has taken part in this course, Emergency and Urgent Care for Children - A Survival Guide.
This course has taught you how to recognise and treat some of the commonest medical conditions that affect children. The topics we covered were:
- Breathing Difficulties
- Head Injuries
- Abdominal Pain
- Minor Injuries
This was the first time we have run the course and I have been really pleased to see how well people have engaged. I hope you have enjoyed the course and gained some useful knowledge across the nine topics. There have been some excellent points made and lively discussion with many interesting debates. We have thoroughly enjoyed reading your comments and understanding the variable approaches people adopt in the management and care of sick children. I am delighted to see so many parents and carers working their way through the course and hope you have all gained the knowledge that you hoped before embarking on this three week study period.
If you have enjoyed the course please do recommend it to friends and colleagues. And for those who would be interested in taking their learning to the next level, the team is planning a major trauma and major illness in children MOOC in the near future. Please watch this space!
Please take a moment to let us know how you found the course by taking our post-course survey.
