And the research team further used FRB to against ulcerative colitis (UC) model induced with dextran sulfate sodium (DSS). Providing 2~4% DSS of drinking water could led a UC murine model, and cause symptoms such as body weight loss, diarrhea, and bloody stool, which are similar to human UC patients’ symptoms.
