Definitions: flipped learning

In this contribution, multi-award winning learning technologist, Russell Stannard explores flipped learning/the flipped classroom. He provides us with a useful definition and identifies some common misconceptions about flipped learning.

Russell also explains how Bloom’s Taxonomy relates to the flipped classroom and sets out some of the implications of this model for assessment. There is a focus on relevant learning technologies and an explanation of the concept of connectivity (sometimes described as integration).
