This week, we have looked at pedagogy and explored some of its implications for activity and assessment design. We have met Diana Laurillard and considered the learning types she has identified through her work in the field of learning design.

We have also spent some time reflecting on the different strategies we might use to persuade and motivate students to engage in action effective for learning. Finally, you have been introduced to UCL’s Learning Designer tool and been encouraged to use it to create and share your own learning design.

What’s coming next on Blended and Hybrid Learning Design in Higher Education?

Next week, we will be looking at learning design with the emphasis on the course or programme level of design.
