MALABIKA SARKER: Hello, everyone. This is Professor Malabika Sarker. I am associate dean and also lead the Center of Science for Implementation and [? Scale-up ?] at BRAC James P. Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University, [INAUDIBLE],, Bangladesh. Welcome to the module on community engagement. In this lecture, we’ll focus on why community engagement is a vital component for a successful program. We’ll also discuss about the importance of context for effective community engagement, the role of technology, and the different approaches used for engaging community.
