Welcome to week 3: What do we mean by social-emotional Learning through Play

In this short video you'll get the basic principles of Psychosocial Support and Social Emotional Learning.
Hi, welcome to unit 3. In this unit, we’re going to cover mental health and psychosocial support and social emotional learning. If those terms are new to you, no worries. We’re going to define them. And we’re going to talk about the ways that we and the children around us can demonstrate resilience in the face of adversity. Then we’re going to practice ways to promote mental health and respond to concerns around well being in children. In this unit, I’m going to be joined by two fantastic experts. Dr. Ashley Nemiro from the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Collaborative in Denmark and Rena Deitz a specialist’ working in social, emotional learning.
Both of them have experience around the world in social, emotional learning and you’re going to love them.
