Have you ever felt like you have a voice, but somehow you are never heard? Have you ever felt hesitant to be who you are or to express yourself freely? Have you ever felt that the things that makes you unique are not accepted? I have.

I’m Kiddy Smile. I’m a singer, dancer, producer, DJ, lover, friend, and I use my own creativity as a medium to break through the barriers that prevent us from feeling comfortable and accepting who we are. There was a period in my life where I did not see myself truly represented and accepted in the world, and there were times where I wonder where I belong. This has inspired me to become the person that I am today. By challenging stereotypes, we can begin to feel more connected to ourselves and to others. And this is why I have teamed up with Tommy Hilfiger to produce this course on exploring intersectionality, and what makes you unique.

Tommy has been at the forefront of fashion and lifestyle for several decades, all while supporting the current themes surrounding identity and body acceptance, whilst funding various project on social activism around the world. In this two week course, we will explore the concept of intersectionality, unravelling the experiences of marginalised people and marginalised communities. We will address how, as a community, we can learn to support each other, regardless of race, class, sexual orientation, and physical ability. Throughout this course, you will learn more about my own personal experiences, how I use this to form my own identity, and this may, in turn, inspire you also to enhance many aspects of your life.
