Teaching Practice Case Studies from Coventry University

We’re now inviting you to gain insight and inspiration from academics within the Coventry University Group, by exploring some of their teaching practice case studies.

The cases illustrate the ways in which Coventry University colleagues have developed their teaching approaches to support their students. They share exciting innovations, as well as responses to challenges from across diverse subject areas, learning spaces, levels of study, and student groups.

We’d like you to access the collection of case studies from the two sources below. The cases are designed to be practical and can be read quickly and easily. They should also give you an idea of the types of practical examples you’ll investigate on the PGCLaTHE, many of which will be presented in diverse formats, such as video, podcast, animation, and more.

Choose any two case studies from the above sources to read in full and explore in relation to your own practice. You might like to find case studies provided by academics working in a similar (or different) discipline to you, or who are teaching students at a (dis)similar level.

Note down any ideas or tips that you gain from reading the case studies and think about how you could incorporate these into your own practice.
