In this module, you will explore the importance of quantitative research strategies and appropriate sampling methods/techniques. When you carry out a piece of research in your law studies, you may not be able to collect data from all cases. Therefore, you may need to select a sample.

This module presents the steps you will go through to conduct sampling. There are two main types of sampling techniques/methods, so you will need to understand the differences so that you can select the most appropriate sampling method for your research.

Finally, you will learn the relative advantages and disadvantages of each sampling method. We will explore these using a questionnaire and you will see how to achieve specific research goals using different techniques.

I look forward to discussing them with you!
