This week, we’ll learn about inductive bias, sampling bias, and the predictive modelling lifecycle.

An inductive bias is a necessary part of a machine learning algorithm. Without it, the algorithm can’t actually learn. A sampling bias, however, is something you should try to minimise.

This week we’ll look at biases in machine learning and what can go wrong as a consequence. We’ll also study a process used to manage predictive modelling projects and some of the tools available in the field.
