At the end of Week 2 you should be able to:

  1. Know the 3 principal chords of classical music and their accompanying scales

  2. Know the 3 principal chords of jazz and their accompanying scales including the American Blues Scale, the 7th Scale and the Full Blues Scale for the seventh chord

  3. Play a blues in C in root position using open sevenths (and the thumb to provide the pulse)

  4. Play a blues in C in root position using fifth-tenths

  5. Play a blues in C in root position using seventh-tenths (and the top two fingers to provide the pulse)
