Summary of the week

What have we discovered in week 2 of our open innovation course? Here we summarise the key points and look ahead to the next week.
This week we’ve covered some of the challenges an organisation faces when looking to find ideas and harness the power of its networks to successfully implement open innovation. We’ve also looked at some of the many benefits through the lens of research-based partnerships – in this case via the example of Durham University.

Next week we’ll look at open innovation in practice – in particular how we might define and measure success, the importance of processes to open innovation and how you might apply open innovation to your own contexts.
