Welcome to Week 2!

A video to welcome participants back to Week 2 of "Supporting you with your University Interview"

Welcome back to the second week of the course!

To recap, last week we covered, what a university interview is, why universities interview, how you may be invited to an interview and the kind of information you will likely receive and finally, why you might feel nervous about an interview and what you can do to keep those nerves at bay – you’ve done so much already!

Now we’ve set the groundwork we’re going to focus on interview preparation this week, particularly looking at what skills academic departments are looking for, and how they want you to show these within your answers. You’ll find more videos from our academic colleagues at York this week, as well as hearing from some of our current students about their experiences of university interviews and how they prepared.

Please continue to add your thoughts and comments to the discussions at the end of each step and to get involved in the different exercises as you work your way through the course this week.

You’ve got this!
