Help for volunteers supporting refugees online

Many of you are supporting refugees in face to face situations, in classrooms, in your homes, in spaces in you local communities but many of you are also providing support online. On this course, we have introduced some of our favourite few digital tools, polls and apps, such as Padlet, VoiceSpice, Learning apps and AnswerGarden. In this step we suggest some ways you can use to develop your online teaching skills and we provide some links to resources for teaching online.

  • Teaching English Online. This is a free four week asynchronous Cambridge University Press and Assessment course on FutureLearn. The course is similar in design to the course you’ve just competed but focuses entirely on ways of improving your online teaching skills.
