I hope you have enjoyed this introduction course into English presentation skills. You should now have a better understanding of the key areas that make an effective presentation. We looked at how to prepare and structure a good presentation and also focused on how to communicate your message effectively. It’s not just the words spoken that are important but also other elements such as body language, the volume, pace and clarity of your delivery. We emphasised that it is vital to consider the specific context you are presenting in and discussed how to plan the talk accordingly paying particular attention to your purpose and your audience.

This short course is part of a wider module English business presentation skills, which is part of the BA in international business top up developed by Coventry University online. For the rest of the module you will be working towards delivering a group presentation on the theme of entrepreneurship.
