Introduction to Week 1

Hello, and welcome to week one of the course. This week’s topic focuses on quality requirements for feed.

Animal feed and feed ingredients should meet generally accepted quality standards. In order to do so, the feed mills are required to adhere to legislation, implement good manufacturing practices and conduct hazard analysis critical control point principles.

We will begin the week by exploring the regulatory requirements for animal feed before introducing good manufacturing practices and hazard analysis critical control point principles.
