Skip to 0 minutes and 7 secondsPaying-- so let's talk about money. Here are some terms and phrases. [DUTCH SPOKEN] Het geld. The money. [DUTCH SPOKEN] Hoe duur is dat? How much is that? Literally, in Dutch you say, how expensive is that? "Twee euro." "Dertig cent." And together we say, "twee euro dertig", or simply "twee dertig". Notice that euros and cents are not in the plural form in an amount. So "vijftig euro, vijftig cent".

Skip to 0 minutes and 48 secondsWhen speaking, you just pause between the euro and the cent. "twee dertig". "drie vijftig".
