Congratulations on finishing this course, Influencing and Communication Skills for Managers by the University of Law.

We really hope you have enjoyed the course and that it has answered a lot of question that you had about communicating and influencing in the workplace. We’ve covered a lot these past three weeks. You had the opportunity to explore how managers communicate effectively. You first gained an understanding of the meaning of communication, the different types of verbal and nonverbal communication and the communication process. Managers must master communication in order to ensure that organisational goals are met. By communicating effectively, they are able to influence the behaviour of employees and external stakeholoders.

It is important to understand the importance of communication and influence, as it plays a significant role both in our personal and our professional lives.
