A Simple VR Experience [Whack-a-mole]

Video demonstrating whack-a-mole interaction.

On the screen, I can see green holes with moles popping up, and the gaze cursor, a circular reticle at the centre of the screen. The gaze cursor fuses on the target mole. The shrinking reticle on the mole means the cursor is in fuse mode, and both the mole and hole pop down and disappear. New holes and moles pop up. There appears a gold mole on a red hole. When the gaze cursor fuses and shrinks on the gold mole, you can see that this triggers new green holes to appear on the scene. Here again, the shrinking reticle on the mole means the cursor has gone into fuse mode, and both the mole and the hole pop down and disappear.

Another mole is still in contact on the screen before a fuse delay occurs. Here, a click interaction is registered when the reticle hits a hittable mole target. Now there appears a red mole and a gold mole popping up on the screen. And you can see on gaze cursor fuse, this shrinks, and the gold mole and hole pop down and disappear. A similar process reoccurs, and the VR webapp resets back to the start, with the gaze cursor reticle onscreen, the green holes appearing and red moles popping up.
