Educators’ thoughts on practice

In this short video, educators from around the world share their experiences of implementing ESD in their practice in schools and universities.

To begin this activity, we’re going to hear from a range of educators about their own experiences of ESD practice within schools and universities.

As you watch the videos, you might like to consider the following questions:

  • What are the key themes or approaches that these educators are using?
  • How are approaches in schools and universities or across diverse contexts either similar or different?
  • Which examples of activities or approaches were you already are familiar with?
  • What new things you have learned from the videos that you might use in future?
  • Do these examples of practice resonate with your own experiences? If so, in what ways?

Note down your responses to these questions and consider sharing them in the Comments area. Do other learners differ in their interpretation of what the educators have said?

If you’ve learned something new you might like to look for some supporting material or examples of an approach in action to inform your own attempts at trying it.
