Writing style is the unique way a writer communicates with words.

Style is created with two main elements: voice and tone. However, the way you use grammar, spelling, and structure will also contribute to your style because it contributes to how your reader receives the message. Your writing style should change depending on the context, as a message you send to your boss will be very different in voice and tone to the one you send to your friend. Mastering a professional style means adopting a tone and voice that is appropriate to the corporate setting and the target audience.
