Pattern shape tool

In CLO 3D, pattern shape tools are used to generate patterns. There are the polygon, the rectangle, the ellipse, and the spiral tool. You can find them in your 2D toolbar.

The location of Pattern Shape tools

Polygon
Polygon tool creates polygon Patterns in 2D Window. Keynotes:
1. Single click in your 2D window to make a start point.
2. Move your cursor and click once more to make a segment.
3. Hold control and click or hold your clicking and move cursor to make a curve.
4. Hold shift to get a lock guide.
5. Right-click to get a Create Polygon window.

  1. Hit backspace to go back one point at a time.

Rectangle
The rectangle tool creates rectangle Patterns in a 2D window.
Keynotes:
1. Left click and drag your mouse and release to make a pattern.
2. Click in the 2D window to open the Create Rectangle window.

The ellipse tool creates ellipse or circle Patterns in a 2D window.

Keynotes:
1. Left click and drag your mouse and release to make a pattern.
2. Click in the 2D window to open the Create Ellipse window.

1. Left click in the 2D window to get Create spiral window.
2. Click on numbers to check which lines or distance you are editing.
