Introduction to IoT Solution Architecture

In the previous activity, we explored business scenarios in different industries. Now let’s have a look at IoT architecture in implementing an IoT solution.

In this activity, we will spend some time talking about IoT architecture.

We’ll focus on how to put an IoT solution together and the main areas that need to be considered. The IoT solution can be fairly complicated, so we’ll show you a simplified diagram of the various components that make up IoT architecture.

Once you’ve worked through this step and video, we’ll take a deeper dive into the activity.

You’ll learn about:

  • Core subsystems of an IoT architecture
  • Optional subsystems of an IoT architecture
  • Cross-cutting architectural concerns
  • Data flow and processing.

Let’s get started!
