Welcome! Based on Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) recommendations pronounced by World Health Organisation, TMU has built Good Pharmacy Practice course series. This series provides pharmacists with the essential knowledge to provide better pharmaceutical services and professional abilities.

Course series include:

• Essentials of Good Pharmacy Practice: The Basics
• Good Pharmacy Practice: Introduction to Medication Delivery Systems
• Good Pharmacy Practice: Introduction to Clinical Pharmacy Services (You are enrolled in this course.)
• Good Pharmacy Practice: Medication Management
• Good Pharmacy Practice: Pharmaceutical Services

This course will introduce Clinical Pharmacy Services.

It covers the basic topics, providing pharmacists with some essential knowledge to provide better pharmaceutical services and professional abilities, related to the World Health Organisation’s Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) recommendations.

For the first week, Ms Mei-Yu, Chen, a clinical pharmacist of Taipei Veterans General Hospital (TVGH), will introduce her experience in clinical pharmacy services. Clinical pharmacy services provide pharmaceutical care. Pharmacists give recommendations to ensure the appropriateness and safety of drug therapy. Through her experience, the first session will give you an idea of what clinical pharmacy services are, the impact of these services, and the obstacles pharmacists are facing.
