Roisin is a teaching fellow at University of Strathclyde and also a registered social worker.

In her practice career Roisin worked with both victims and perpetrators of sexual abuse and delivered in house training in working in child abuse. She has retained an interest in this field of practice throughout her academic career. Roisin is a member of the Strategic Board for Secure Care in Scotland and is interested the impact of trauma on the interpersonal lives of young people.

Roisin’s teaching and research interests range across vocational education, adult education and Higher Education.
