Exercise Guidelines

Exercise Guidelines represent industry standards. These guidelines have been developed to enhance the capacity of exercise professionals and fitness businesses to deliver safe, high quality, client-centered exercise services. The guidelines include references to current evidence and practical do’s and don’ts that support fitness service providers to manage common risks associated with specific exercise activities and environments.

Fitness Business Principles and Guidance

Principles that promote good business practice for your fitness business have been developed by Fitness Australia as part of the industry associations commitment to support the fitness industry to grow and prosper.

Good practice is underpinned by legal compliance and every business member is responsible for understanding and complying with the laws that apply to them. The Principles have been developed to align with and support best practice in the fitness industry.
