Boost your employability, with the prospect of earning 30 credits towards a Business Management BA

The Business and Finance Fundamentals program will help you develop valuable skills for today’s business environment.

From communicating with customers to managing projects with success, creating financial plans to weighing up investment options, you’ll gain an awareness of a wide range of business and finance areas, which will boost your effectiveness at work today and your long-term employability tomorrow.

Accessible for free on desktop, tablet or mobile and delivered in bite-sized chunks, the eight courses in this program provide a flexible way to support and demonstrate your continuing professional development (CPD).

Holders of FutureLearn Certificates of Achievement for all eight courses can earn 30 UK credits towards The Open University Business School’s BA in Business Management by passing a linked Open University assessment course (requiring separate OU registration and fee).

For further information about registration, the final assessment course, your eligibility and the BA in Business Management, visit the Open University website. The Open University does not operate in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Syria. This means that Learners based in those countries will not be able to convert their participation in this Program to Open University course credits.

Courses and assessment

To get an award you will need to upgrade all courses on this program, then qualify for a Certificate of Achievement on each course. To qualify you need to do at least 90% of each course and score an average of 70% or above on any tests.

Once you have qualified for a Certificate of Achievement on every course you will be able to take a final assessment course. Pass the final assessment course to earn 30 UK credits which can count towards The Open University's BA (Hons) Business Management.

This program will require 32 weeks of learning, plus 22 weeks of assessment. The total cost for the courses is $512 + shipping. You will also need to pay £699.00 GBP to take the assessment.
