Introduction to the fourth week

Hello, and welcome back to another week of Food for Thought.

In the previous weeks, we have discussed concepts such as emotions and food intake, rewards systems and food addiction, thus keeping the focus more on the psychological aspects of the relationship between food and brain.

In the first activity we will explore eating disorders, including new eating disorders such as Orthorexia Nervosa.

In the second activity of this week we will focus more on biological topics, discussing some effects of unhealthy eating patterns (such as nutritional deficiencies, or diet rich in fructose) on the brain and body.

I wish you a good week of learning !
