The big question

This course is part of the International Business and People Relations program, itself a component of the online BA in International Business (top-up) degree offered by Coventry University.

In this course, we’ll introduce you to some of the main theories underpinning international Human Resource Management (HRM).

To get the most out of the course, it’s highly recommended that you engage in discussions as often as you can, make a habit of sharing your own thoughts in the comments sections, and take part in activities where possible. Doing this will support your learning and help you gain valuable knowledge of HR practices and theories in an international context.

Your task

To get you started on your learning journey and to help you get to know your fellow learners, we’d like you to discuss the following question in the context of HRM:

We are living in a world where data is key, but do people still matter?

Please use the comments section below to share and discuss your thoughts.
