What will be the topics of the next (and last) week?

During this week we concluded our discussion of some approaches to crafting scientific messages, and some ways to deliver them effectively to our audience.

In the next week, we will discuss another route to disseminate your message: namely, working with journalists and the mass media.
While this can be a powerful route to reach wide audiences, it also has its peculiar pitfalls: journalists are bound by strict constraints - this includes both the time (or space) that can be given to you and to your message, and the time from the initial contact to the publishing of the final piece.

In the second activity we will instead focus on other approaches to science communication and public engagement - for instance, by looking at the roles that universities and other institutions can have in this process.
