Skip to 0 minutes and 9 seconds INA KONING: About 7% of the teenagers develop an alcohol or drug addiction. Being addicted is really terrible. It worsens contacts with friends and family, because you act weird, lie, or only hang out with people who use alcohol or drugs as well. And yet people who are addicted often cannot stop using, even though they lose everything– their friends, money, home, and health. When you’re addicted, it’s no longer fun to use alcohol or drugs.
