Welcome to Get Started With Digital Marketing.

In this course, you will have the chance to develop your skills for recognising opportunities and responding to challenges in a rapidly changing digital world. Along the way, you will be asked to engage with the tasks and develop creative responses to different challenges to help enhance your independent and creative thinking.

This is the introductory two-week course for the program in Digital Marketing Strategy, which forms part of the online Master of Business Administration (Marketing) degree at Coventry University, delivered on FutureLearn.

This 10-week program is made up of five two-week courses, followed by an additional period to submit your assessment, details of which can be found on the assessment tab of the program page. The program page also gives you access to live tutorials, student support sessions and further study resources and services.

This week

Through this week’s activities, you will:

  • Differentiate between digital marketing and traditional marketing
  • Define different digital marketing channels and presence
  • Critique and analyse the opportunities and challenges that emerge from this digital disruption from macro and micro perspectives
