  1. Good lesson planning and preparation will help you deliver any teaching session more effectively.

  4. Becoming a competent educator is a long process and like any skills development, it requires plenty of practice and experience to develop expertise.

  5. Make use of student feedback and/ or peer observation feedback to reflect on and enhance your teaching technique and presentation skills.

  6. Remember that the learner is at the centre of all educational activity – make sure that your teaching enhances learning.
